What we do

Nine trades, one firm, one number to call.

Gas and LPG, oil, air conditioning, renewables, plumbing and heating, electrical, mechanical, landlord certificates and service plans — for homeowners, landlords and commercial premises around Selsey and Chichester. We work as a Gas Safe, OFTEC, REFCOM and F-Gas registered company.

01

Gas & LPG

Boilers, cookers, hobs and fires, installed and serviced on both mains natural gas and LPG. The LPG side matters around here: a good number of properties sit off the gas network and run on a bulk tank or bottles instead, and the regulators, pipe sizing and appliance settings are not the same as mains gas. Whether it's a straight boiler replacement, a new hob in a reworked kitchen or an annual service, the appliance is commissioned properly and you get the paperwork to match.

  • Boiler installation and replacement, natural gas or LPG
  • Cookers, hobs and gas fires supplied, fitted and commissioned
  • Annual servicing and safety checks
  • Pipework, regulators and appliance settings sized for the fuel
02

Oil boilers

Plenty of homes and small commercial buildings around Chichester have never had a gas main outside them, and oil is what heats them. We install and service oil-fired boilers — internal and external, combi and system — including the tank, the supply line, the filters and the fire valve. An annual service on an oil boiler is not optional maintenance: nozzles, electrodes and filters all drift, and a boiler running rich is a boiler burning money.

  • Oil boiler installation and replacement
  • Annual servicing: nozzle, electrodes, filters, combustion check
  • Tank, supply line, filter and fire valve work
  • Sensible advice when a tired oil boiler is worth replacing rather than patching
03

Air conditioning

Air conditioning is the part of a building people only think about in the week it stops working. We install split and multi-split systems for homes, offices, shops and server rooms, and we service the ones already in place: filters, coils, condensate, refrigerant checks and controls. Because we do the electrical side as well, the fused spur, the interconnecting cable and the condensate run are part of the same job rather than three phone calls.

  • Split and multi-split installation, domestic and commercial
  • Servicing: filters, coils, condensate, refrigerant and controls
  • Fault-finding on existing systems
  • Power, spur and condensate handled in-house
04

Renewables

Renewables only work when the building is ready for them, so we start with the property rather than the product. Air source and ground source heat pumps, biomass and log boilers, and solar thermal for hot water — specified against what your house or unit can realistically take, including insulation, radiator or underfloor sizing, cylinder capacity and where the plant is going to live. If a straight boiler replacement is the better answer for now, we will say so.

  • Air source and ground source heat pumps
  • Biomass and log boilers
  • Solar thermal hot water
  • Honest assessment of what the building can take before anything is specified
05

Plumbing & heating

The wet side of the building: cold water tanks, vented and unvented hot water cylinders, taps, valves, radiators and the pipework that ties it all together. Installation and servicing both — a new unvented cylinder with the right expansion and discharge arrangement, a cylinder service, a run of pipework rerouted around a new layout, or a radiator added to the room that has never warmed up properly.

  • Vented and unvented hot water cylinders, installed and serviced
  • Cold water tanks, pumps and pressure problems
  • Taps, valves, radiators and pipework alterations
  • Hot water and heating fault-finding
06

Electrical

A full electrical side, not a heating firm that owns a screwdriver. Wiring and rewires, lighting design and installation, CCTV and security systems, and fire alarm and detection systems, for both homes and commercial premises. On our own heating, renewables and air conditioning jobs it means the circuits, controls and appliance all get done by the same firm in the same visit; on standalone electrical work it stands on its own.

  • Wiring, circuits and consumer unit work
  • Lighting — internal, external and commercial
  • CCTV and security systems
  • Fire alarm and detection systems
07

Landlord safety certificates

If you let a property with gas appliances in it, the law wants an annual gas safety check by a registered engineer and a record of it in your tenants' hands. We carry out the check on the appliances, flues and pipework, issue the record, and keep the appointment tidy and brief so your tenants aren't inconvenienced. Portfolios can go on one renewal diary so nothing quietly runs out of date.

  • Annual landlord gas safety checks and records
  • Appliances, flues and pipework inspected
  • Appointments arranged directly with tenants if that's easier
  • Whole portfolios on one renewal diary
08

Landlord & homeowner service plans

A service plan exists so that the annual jobs stop depending on someone remembering them. We put your servicing and safety checks on a schedule — one property or a portfolio, gas, oil, air conditioning or all three — and come to you at a time that works, with the paperwork issued each visit. It is the cheapest maintenance there is, because the faults it catches are the small ones.

  • Annual servicing scheduled and remembered for you
  • Single properties or whole portfolios
  • Gas, oil and air conditioning covered on the same plan
  • Paperwork issued and kept on file
09

Mechanical

The commercial end of what we do: mechanical installation, planned maintenance and project management. Plant rooms, heating and cooling distribution, pipework, pumps and controls, installed and then looked after — and managed as a programme where a site has other trades to fit around. One point of contact for the mechanical package, with the electrical work available from the same firm.

  • Mechanical installation and plant room work
  • Planned and reactive maintenance
  • Project management and programme coordination
  • Electrical package available from the same firm

Four fuels, not one

Whatever the building runs on, we are set up for it.

Out past Chichester plenty of properties never had a gas main laid to them, so heating here is a mix of natural gas, LPG, oil and — increasingly — heat pumps. Firms that only do one of them end up telling you what they can fit rather than what suits the property.

Mains natural gas

The default where a gas main runs past the property. Boilers, cookers, hobs and fires installed, serviced and commissioned, with the safety record to match.

LPG

Bulk tank or bottles, for properties off the gas network. Different regulators, different pipe sizing and different appliance settings from mains gas — not a detail to get wrong.

Oil

Internal and external oil-fired boilers, with the tank, supply line, filters and fire valve treated as part of the system rather than someone else’s problem.

Renewable

Air and ground source heat pumps, biomass and log boilers and solar thermal — specified against what the building can realistically take.

The electrical work, the condensate, the making-good and the commissioning are in the quote — not discovered halfway through.

We accept all major debit and credit cards through our SumUp card service, and we can offer 0% finance to our customers on installation work, subject to status. Ask us for the details while a job is being quoted rather than after it's booked.

Not sure which of these you need?

Describe the property, the fuel and the fault or the plan — photographs of the boiler, tank, unit or board help enormously — and we will tell you what is actually involved.
